Should you be worried?

This quote scares me for some reason. One way or another someone out there is paying attention you what you post online. Something you meant to be private, could be seen by millions of people somewhere else. I suppose there are pros and cons to this Social Networking deal. If you want to get something out there meant to be noticed then networking should be your target but if you were just typing about your thoughts and feels, there's a high chance that it could be breached and posted to the public. The Internet is not a safe place and I'm sure we've figured that out by now, but yet everyone stills feels the need to use it because its the only way  to connect with loved ones far away or buy something without going out of your house. The first couple years the Internet came out every had their guards down thinking nothing could go wrong, who knew there would be "geniuses" out there that can hack into your information and use it wrongfully. The government is now even monitoring everything that is sent through these sites. Everyone should be cautious about what is being posted.
