A study done by Performics show that Moms are more active than Non-Moms in the social media world. The study shows that approximately sixty-one percent of Moms compared to Non-Moms are more likely to own a phone that can easily connect to social media websites. Daina Middleton, Global CEO of Performics states, "Moms continue to take advantage of the little spare time they have by utilizing all the tools at their disposal. This includes their mobile devices and social networks." Performics makes comparison with Moms to Non-Moms on how likely each group is to make a certain purchase and how each group is likely to trust a brand or company. Moms would take recommendations from companies they see from the social media website while Non-Moms take recommendations from their peers. Nowadays Moms do what they can to stay connected and build a relationship with consumers.
