Ever heard of a blogging site called Tumblr? This microblogging site was created by a man name David Karp in April of 2007. Attracting billions of users, Tumblr has become one of the biggest blogging/social media site along with Blogger and WordPress. Although all three blogging sites provide most of the same features, I (from hands-on experience) think that the Tumblr features are more easy to access and use. On the other hand, if you were thinking about become a professional online blogger, Tumblr wouldn't be the most professional. I realized when I started using it that I’m a compulsive sharer, and it became a fun extension of the kinds of things I like in my personal life, a more aesthetic focus than my WordPress blog where I write about work related subjects." You see, anything and everything is allowed to be posted and is posted. Salon (an online magazine) says "Tumblr is like collecting every moment wherever you go. Browsing through various "tumblelogs" is like sifting through the Lost and Found Department of the entire Internet. It's a beautiful mix of everything and anything, from the shocking to the spectacular." Tumblr users can range from ages 13 and older. I know a lot of people that spend their time on Tumblr, going through other users page, find anything that might interest them and re-blogging the content. Its an addicting thing.
Here are a couple blogs that I find interest in:
